Professional figure sharpening from a trained skate technician. We use precision tools that ensure we maintain the Radius of Blade (ROB) while we apply to the new Radius of Hollow (ROH) to the figure skate.
RADIUS OF BLADE (ROB):
Curvature of the blade as seen from the
side, front to back. This creates the ROCKER look & feel of the blade. The curve increases toward the front. The smaller the radius, the easier it is to turn.
The rear two-thirds of the blade has a 7-foot to 8-foot curve, depending upon the make and style of the blade. This flatter
curvature offers the skater more speed
and stability. The front one-third
(approximately) may have a 9” curve,
or two levels of curvature with a partial
radius of 1 foot and another section
with a 2-foot radius, sometimes referred to as the “spin spot.”
RADIUS OF HOLLOW (ROH):
Curve carved into the bottom of the blade;
the side-to-side curvature that creates a “hollow” and two sharp edges.
Deep Hollow: ROH 4/16” to 6/16” -- better grip, but slower. Often used by smaller, lighter skaters, high freestyle, dance skaters.
Medium Hollow: ROH 7/16”-8/16” -- most useful for adults
and medium-weight children and freestyle skaters.
Love your gloves but they have holes in them? We can replace the palms using similar materials to what where originally there, Please note witch palms you may want as we offer Four options.
Nash Pro Palm-(Image2)Synthetic material that will hold up longer then traditional palms and comes in ivory.
Nash Single Layer- (image 3)Synthetic material without the additional layer that will allow for better feel of the stick but will wear faster due to single layer.
Nash Palm w/ Tacky heel- (image 4)Synthetic material that will hold up longer then traditional palms and comes with grey tacky heel for better grip.
Images 2-5 are for examples only, color and stitching may vary from pictures.
Skate profiling maximizes blade contact to the ice allowing the skater to generate more power and reduce fatigue and strain to the body. We offer both our Pro Skate Balance method and the Pro Sharp method for those looking for more traditional radius profiling.
To reduce shipping costs please mail in blades only when possible. Please include the profile you want or call us for questions for what may be right for you.
The Pro Skate-Balance method:
Pro Sharp Profiling:
ProSharp has profiled skates since 1984. The ProSharp system is the only system that can provide players with triple & quadruple radius on a single profile!
Professional Hockey Skate Sharpening from a qualified skate technician. We use precision equipment to insure your blades are evenly sharpened and level to insure you always get maximum performance from your blades while also maintaining the blade existing blade profile.
FBV eliminates the need to choose one benefit over the other, with a breakthrough architecture designed for the perfect blend of speed and agility. The flat bottom shape of the blade allows the skate to glide across the top of the ice rather than cut through it. This reduces drag and helps increase speed. At the same time, the precision edges are ready to dig in and provide precise control on turns and stops.
To Reduce shipping costs please just mail in skate Blades when Possible
The result is a revolutionary, no-compromise blade sharpening technique that allows you to skate faster with less effort and experience precise control on turns and stops, so you get maximum bite and maximum glide all the time. The secret: the Blackstone® SPINNER SYSTEM: a breakthrough new coated disc system that dresses the radius and shape of the grinding wheel so that it can create sharpening on the bottom of the blade. The FBV® system does not alter rocker radius or remove any more steel than conventional sharpening.

Used to calibrate the the height of the skate holder to center of the finishing wheel.
Used to extract broken off stick extensions without damaging the stick.
The original PSB Quik Square used to quickly and accurately check level on hockey and figure skate blades up to .025. For best results check blades in three places to insure the edges are square. Comes with square, aluminum level, and nylon thumb screw. Additional levels and screws are available and should be replaced when worn.
Disclaimer: This is a calibrated piece of equipment and should only be used by a qualified skate technician. readings can vary slightly if used improperly.
100 of our patented PSB stainless steel helmet screws that have knurled heads that keep the screw from vibrating loose from the helmet. Screw sizes come in 8mm, 10mm, and 11mm lengths and are a standard 8/32 thread.
This die works exclusively with ROED Skate Riveters and will allows for more clearance when installing steel rivets.
Made from a strong Lexan material and laser cut to exact dimensions to insure the profile is accurate time and time again. Each template comes with two profiles, one on each side and can be customized to any combination along with adding team/store logo to one side. Due to the customization of this product turnaround time is a minimum of a week and you if you want your logo added we will need a high resolution image.
